Starfall - Starfall is a good site to support phonics in the foundation stage and key stage one

Junior News Desk - Provided by c2k, this is a great place to find news stories that your child will enjoy. They can use their school login to comment on their favourite videos and articles

Maths Is Fun - A website set up to support learning in numeracy through ks1 and ks2

IXL maths - Some very good games to keep children entertained while learning. A good source to help with homeworks.

Times Tables - Includes ideas and games to help learn those all important times tables.

Ask Kids - Ask kids is a filtered and monitored search engine which is safe for children to use. If they have their own tablet at home with access to the internet, it may be a good idea to set ask kids as the default search engine or home page to avoid them using unfiltered sites such as google, yahoo or bing.

Top Marks - A great tool for children to practise the things they have been learning in school. Can also be a very useful tool for helping parents with difficult homeworks.

C2K NewsDesk - Similar to Junior Newsdesk, this regularly updated website provides topical news stories that will spark your child's interest. Children can log in using their school log in details.

Crick Web - This website is good to support learning in literacy at KS2

Funology - A great website which has ideas for science, art and even cooking in the home.

Guiness World Records - Always a very popular book among those in Upper Key Stage 2 and now they have a website containing lots of interesting facts and pieces of weird and wonderful information.

How Stuff Works - For those interested in science, technology and engineering, there is lots to learn on this website.
