In St Mary’s Primary School and Nursery Unit our vision is to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where our children will aspire to achieve their fullest potential and become respectful, responsible members of society.

Mission Statements
Primary:

The Mission Statement of St Mary's Primary School aims to create a caring community in which all pupils are encouraged to fulfil their spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and emotional potential. Central to this aim is the recognition of the worth and value of every child, the fostering of Catholic values and the promotion of mutual understanding and respect for others. We aim to establish a community wherein all pupils, staff and parents enjoy a sense of belonging and each has an important role to play in the success of that community.

Nursery:

We, the staff of St Mary’s Nursery Unit, aim to create an open, calm and caring community committed to raising the children’s self-esteem and promoting their self-image. We will endeavour to provide a curriculum that evolves from the needs of the children in our care, where challenge and extension are provided for each child.
